A month after his motorcycle accident in Australia, former national men’s singles coach Wong Tat Meng has appeared in a video update shared by Roketto Badminton.
The 56-second clip shows Tat Meng speaking while still bedridden, assuring fans that he is recovering well under proper medical care and with support from friends.
“I’m recovering quite well at the moment. I don’t expect to return so soon, maybe another month or so. If you’d like to chat with me, you can reach me on Facebook Messenger,” he said.
Tat Meng also sent encouragement to players competing at the Roketto Sydney International and upcoming Bendigo International tournaments.
The ex-coach of Lee Zii Jia was involved in a motorcycle accident last month on Putty Road, Garland Valley, Australia.
