A tragic incident occurred at a badminton hall in Seremban 2 last night when a 35-year-old man, Lee Jia Jin, suddenly collapsed while playing badminton. Despite immediate CPR and the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) by his friends, efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Lee, described as a dedicated husband and father, leaves behind his pregnant wife — due to give birth at the end of this month — and two young children. The couple had recently purchased a new home, looking forward to a new chapter in their lives before tragedy struck.
Witnesses said the match was nearly over when Lee showed signs of discomfort before collapsing. His friends acted swiftly to help, but his life could not be saved.
According to friends, Lee was an active and healthy individual who loved outdoor sports. Though he had been diagnosed with mild hypertension during a recent check-up, his sudden passing has left those close to him in deep shock and sorrow.
