Coach Tat Meng’s recovery is progressing better than expected and has given hope to everyone following his journey. He is now able to converse clearly with visitors and the medical team, showing encouraging improvement in speech and clarity.
He has also advanced to eating puréed food, marking another important milestone in regaining his strength. Recently, he was placed in a wheelchair for the first time, allowing him to take part in rehabilitation exercises and enjoy fresh air outdoors.
Although several weeks of rehabilitation still lie ahead, the outlook remains very positive, and his determination continues to inspire his family, colleagues, and the wider badminton community.
We extend sincere gratitude to the medical team for their care and dedication, as well as to his family, friends, and the global badminton community for their continuous support.
