Justin Hoh is prepared to play a key role once again as Malaysia faces Indonesia in the SEA Games men’s team final tomorrow.
Despite recent struggles, Justin delivered a crucial point in the semi-final, defeating Thailand’s Panitchapon Teeraratsakul 21-10, 21-17 to help Malaysia secure a 3–1 victory.
Singles coaching director Kenneth Jonassen praised Justin’s solid performance but emphasised the importance of collective effort as they prepare for the final showdown with Indonesia.
Malaysia will rely on Aaron Chia–Soh Wooi Yik and Man Wei Chong–Tee Kai Wun to continue their strong form, while Indonesia is expected to pose an even greater threat as the defending champions.
Malaysia aims to finally reclaim the men’s team gold, last won in 2005.
