After an injury-hit year, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy & Chirag Shetty are turning up the heat ahead of the World Championships (Aug 25-31) in Paris.
The Asian Games champions were knocked out in the Paris 2024 Olympic quarters by Malaysia’s Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, but now, under Malaysian coach Tan Kim Her, they’re fitter, sharper, and hungry for redemption.
“Once we’re healthy, we can do well. Injuries have been restricting our game,” says Satwik.
With flashes of brilliance in Malaysia, India, Singapore & China this year, the duo believe a world medal is within reach if they stay injury-free.
